Fruitful Week ✔️

Finally me and my team had done the interview assignment for English Writing Skills. Our interviewee is Mr. Chris Pang which is the former Head of Marketing and also our senior in PORTMAN College. Although this is an interview session, but it more like a sharing session between us.

What I had learnt in this week English Writing Skills is how to identify the Audience and Purpose. The only thing I'm interested in is Rhetorical Triangle. As I mentioned before, I will only remember things that I am interested.

With the Rhetorical Triangle approach, writer, audience and context are the three things that have the greatest impact on an argument.

* ETHOS - Building trust by establishing your credibility and authority (Writer).
* PATHOS - Appealing to emotion by connecting with your audience through their values and interest (Audience).
* LOGOS - Appeal to intelligence with well-constructed and clearly argued ideas (Context).

This is the only theory in English Writing Skills, but it is very new and fresh for me. I gained a lot of knowledge in this week and I hope the next class will be more knowledgeable. Let's learn it together!
